How can I restore rims/wheels injured by hitting the curb?

I have a 2004 Accord with alloy stock wheels/rims. I have scratched all of them by hitting curbs over the years. Aside from replacing the rims/wheels, is there something I can do to help restore the finish such that it is smooth and without metall burrs?
