How do I make songs on Mario Paint Composer?

I went on youtube and saw people making sweet recreations of songs (Tik Tok, The Final Countdown, Mission Impossible, Paparazzi, Thriller) on Mario Paint Composer and I wondered how to they figure all that out? So does anybody know how they do it?
