When u get a 6 months ban from driving wat wud happen if u gt caugt drivin?

i no sum1 hu gt banned becos they had an accident and it was there fault. so they gt a ban which is absolutly no help at the moment considering the cirstances theyre in. if they caught drivin what wud happen. is there a way to appeal to lift the ban. and is there an alternative.
