Do conservatives know that Saddam lost and so did the south?

This guy in his what looked like maybe early 40s was driving around with an American flag and a Confederate flag in the back of his pick-up. This is in Grand Rapids Michigan a 60/40 conservative ruling city the other side of the state from Detroit. I know they have the right but don`t they know Saddam lost and so did the south?
