Can you find out the y haplogroup of your moms father or the mtdna of your dads mother?

hi im arab american of lebanese+jordanian descent with a little bit of saudi too my dad is g2 ydna so that means his dad (whos jordanian) is also g2 my moms mtdna is j (shes half lebanese part saudi) that means her mom is also j but how do you find out your moms dad (saudi) ydna or your dads mom (lebanese) mtdna cause its probbaly differnt? does my granma or granpa have to take a test to see what it is? or is it going to be the same g2 or mtdna j?
